ABOUT: Looking for an entertaining evening out? Do you enjoy a story with a twist? A tale that makes you laugh and think at the same time? You’re in luck, as Chris Newcomb returns to The Footlights Theatre with a third collection of personal tales and anecdotes: How’s Thursday? If you saw Chris’s previous one-person shows “Think You Might Be Wrong” & “Other” you know it’ll be an enjoyable evening from beginning to end. In How’s Thursday? Chris weaves an array of amusing tales that deal with the often-fraudulent nature of the stories we tell ourselves. The title How’s Thursday? comes from a bizarre incident related to one of the dozens of commercials the author’s starred in. It’s amazing what people will believe if they see it on a screen. Other stories deal with being lost, being blinded by routine, believing the impossible, and dealing with that thing that’s coming for us all, like it or not.
